In 2013, I Will Live Intentionally

source
So, I have a lot of goals for myself this year, but 2013 is going to be a great year. I already feel it. This is truly the first year in my life that I am starting off on the right foot, from a good and healthy place.

  1. Journal daily.
  2. Only use reusable shopping bags.
  3. Only have one U-Haul and one truck load on moving day.
  4. Get Casen potty trained!
  5. Cook at least 3 nights a week. [And plan ahead for leftovers.]
  6. Family breakfast every morning.
  7. Develop and stick to a family rhythm.
  8. Get outside for at least 30 minutes a day with the boys.
  9. Blog at least twice a week.
  10. Try to read something whenever time allows.
  11. Daily creative/activity time with Casen.
  12. Sew/create at least one project a month.
  13. Just do it. Don’t put it off. It meaning anything...
  14. Finish Nathan’s stocking. For reals.
  15. Get efficient!
  16. Get rid of all unwanted clutter and things we don't need or love. "If you don't love it or use it, lose it." <<< my motto.
  17. Make quiet and/or personal time for myself daily.
  18. Read with boys before bed every night.
  19. Write and give someone [anyone] at least one handwritten note a week.
  20. Start learning to play the banjo.
  21. Sew a quilt.
  22. Create and stick to a budget.
  23. Do not tolerate being treated poorly by anyone and do not do so to others.
  24. Be mindful and present for every moment. Stop trying to do everything at once.
  25. Live intentionally.

Here's to 2013!

  1. Evan is about to start banjo lessons, too. Guess he's been hearing too much Avett Brothers and Mumford and Sons around here.

Also, Dave Ramsey has the best zero-based budget forms (free, I think) on his website.

    Your babies are sooo pretty.
