Discover the Dinosaurs

I hate that I haven't written in so long. I have been either super busy or super lazy, primarily the latter. This pregnancy has beat me down physically, mentally, and emotionally... Yesterday we hit 35 weeks. Not too much longer now that we get to meet little boy #2!!! I'm getting more and more excited! Time is playing a trick on me, I feel like I've been pregnant forever, but at the same time I can not believe we are this close. I don't know where the time went!

Anyway, today we took Casen to a dinosaur exhibit at the Civic Center courtesy of our good friend Henry who happens to be the king of winning tickets from calling into radio stations. He is out of town so he passed the tickets on to us. Casen has been so pumped as we've talked about it throughout the week and even in the car on the way there. Though, as soon as we got there, he FLIPPED out. Poor thing. He was so scared. It took him quite a while to get a little bit more comfortable with the big, scary, moving monsters. Once he started, though, he didn't stop! It was really fun to watch him enjoy all of the [too expensive] attractions. Thankfully he got a free second ride on one of the dinosaurs, which he loved. After we picked up some cotton candy and got someone to take our picture together, we went to eat at Moe's BBQ. Twas muy bueno.

Afterwards, we stopped by Big Spring Park to "feed the duckies" as C always says, and to snap a few shots of the baby bump before it's too late. We have done a horrible job documenting this pregnancy. I am going to kick myself years from now. I swore to myself I'd do a better job this time around, but that definitely did not go as planned. Anyway, we had a great day as a family of 3 and I am so excited to bring a new little one into our chaotic life :)
