Six flags

The other day, my friend Natalie from Huntsville invited us to go to Six Flags with her and her family that was in town from Oregon. On a whim we decided to go! We all had so much fun. The kids had a blast and played really well together, and it was really great getting to catch up with her! (Well, we did as much catching up as you can while chasing 4 kids around Six Flags, lol.) Thankfully she and I were able to break away for a bit to go ride Goliath! All in all it was a great time, and the weather even finally started to cooperate there at the end.

Lympic City!

After we went to Imagine It!, we walked down the street to grab a bite to eat at Googie Burger right by the fountains at Centennial Olympic Park. Oh. My. Gosh. I had THE best southern fried chicken sandwich I think I will ever consume. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. While Fico and I ate, the boys played in the fountains. (We came prepared with bathing suits and extra clothes ;) They had a splash! I mean a blast!

Once it was time to go, they both were about to fall apart emotionally. I mean flailing noodle arms and hissy fits... -_- Anders hadn't napped all day and Casen had been non stop for almost 4 hours straight. Bless their little hearts. They both crashed. Anders didn't even make it to the car. He passed out in his stroller, which he has NEVER done, mind you.... And Casen held out til we got to the car, but couldn't take much more after that. My sweet boys had so much fun. We might try to go ONE more time before the weather gets too cool.

Imagine It

We scored a Groupon a few weeks back and took the boys to Imagine It! The Children's Museum of Atlanta. They had so much fun. Both of them were literally 100% consumed from the moment we got there and they absolutely did not want to leave. It was so fascinating and fun to watch them hop from activity to activity at their own pace according to their heart's desire. And we had fun, too, I'm not gonna lie! It was so funny to watch as the adults would start off just watching their kids at first, then they would get interested and start playing right along. We are already planning a return trip with friends soon! They will be glad to go back.
